Bridging A Way

When I visited Uganda in May 2013, I was welcomed by the people of Paibona, a village in the Archdiocese of Gulu.   I was humbled by their warm welcoming and the preparation that took place awaiting my arrival.    Since then, I learned how one sub county (Palaro) in that area bridged it's way to another (Paibona) by fallen trees.  Earlier this year a man fell to his death crossing this manmade bridge, this story never left my mind.  I am determined to find a way to get a better bridge built for the 20,000 that cross this bridge made of fallen trees...
