New Goal, For A New School Year

Now that the 2016 school year has begun, our sights are set on this year's goal.  To provide a safer means for the children to travel to school.  The fundraising efforts for this year will be to purchase a school van.

The children walk a long distance before arriving to school, over an hour.  Once they leave the village road, they must walk along the main road before arriving to school.

A School van will not only keep the children safe, but will assure they will arrive to school on time.

Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Delaware started off the fundraising by collecting over $1,000.00 to go toward the van.  Gourds, brought back from Uganda, were passed around the Freshman Religion class as a Lenten outreach project.
