A Christmas Gift

The town of Anaka receives a gift that will keep on giving.

The St. Catherine's Empowerment Piggery is a gift from the sacrifices of children during the 2015 Lenten season.  The students and their families of the Religious Educaiton Program at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Wilmington, Delaware gave up things that they wanted, for a better cause.

This Piggery Project will enable many families an opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty.  The gift of a mate will be given to the families for each pig purchased, a "hand up" approach to self reliance.  

In six months we will see the fruits of these gifted animals, Merry Christmas!
